Standfordville

Standfordville lies on the eastern side of the flowing Hudson River, and lies close to the border that crosses into Connecticut. It is a place that many people come to when they are looking to escape the stresses of city life, as it is a short drive away from the sprawling city of New York. Over the river lies the famous Big Indian Wilderness, which rests within the confines of the rolling, green Catskill Mountains. Here, you can follow hiking trails that line the mountain sides, and you can also catch glowing orange leaves in the fall months. The Hudson River also boasts an array of water-based activities that everyone can enjoy, as well as hiking trails that run along the riverbanks.
