Goa

Goa is India's richest but smallest state, and is one of the most visited areas of the country. Its 63-mile border on the glittering Arabian Sea is lined with pristine beaches and perfect spots to cool off from the heavy heat and humidity. Inland Goa is veined with rivers and the estuaries are dotted with tiny islands. More than a third of the state is covered with forests, and huge portions of the woodlands are protected as wildlife sanctuaries and national parks. As such, the state is bursting with life.
